    Hey guys,

I just recently purchased a wx 7100 off of ebay and according to @SMGJohn it will not work with the 120hz panel.

Now I already have both the 120hz panel that is stock for my Ranger and also the 60hz panel so I can test both but the end goal is to run peg mode.

So I was hoping to pick your guys' brains a bit about a 60hz eDP 40 pin panel that if I had the choice was matte. I know that even if all those requirements are checked it doesn't guarantee functionality but I am willing to test to find out.

I won't know if I need to go this route until after testing my eDP panel but if it ends not working peg mode then I am hoping to have this hypothetical panel found and source able.

The way I know to look for panels is basically to look for the model and then back trace its components. Is there a website out there that let's me search via components first? Like eDP>40pin>matte or are they all generally model laptop first then the available panels for it?

    Thanks in advance everyone

Panelook is the only English website with virtually all displays listed on it, some with good amount of info but not everything has information because they are just very rare, manufacturers and suppliers are usually the ones who fill in the info on them.
Make sure your panel is the right thickness size otherwise you will have problems, I just bought a 60Hz eDP display PCBA Bent, Depth ≥5.2mm glossy make sure its reverse or normal position, reverse means the connection is at the bottom and top/normal means its at the top of the display.

Also I am just relaying information I read on multiple forum posts, people have tested 120Hz 3D panels on the Alienware with AMD and no AMD card ever worked, people also tested the WX 7100 with 120Hz display, I be massively surprised if the Ranger works with 120Hz display and WX 7100, its definitely firmware block by Dell cause my WX 7100 does 240Hz out the DisplayPort.
