Wondering if any of you guys have tried to calibrate the display on your notebooks.

A friend of mine just bought the Dell 1520 notebook (matte display) and the colors look pretty washed out compared to my Dell 2005fpw monitor (also not calibrated). I'm thinking of buying the same notebook as my friend. Have you guys succesfuly matched the calibration of a notebook display and desktop display with good results? I don't have a big budget so I'm looking at either the Huey or the Spyder2express. I use my computer for photography and graphic design. (no, I can't afford the macbook pro for twice as much $ for same specs.. yet).

    Thanks! :)

I've been looking at this as well, but I won't have the money for a little while. How does the cheapest version compare to the more advanced versions?
