I have a pavillion dv6-6128ca, and just because I can, I want to upgrade the ram. What should I look for? CPUZ says the model number is M471B5773CHS-CH9, so I looked it up, it has 204 pins, and its PC3 10600 (i dont know what that is).
So I found these: 1 and 2
Are those fine? or am I looking for the wrong thing?

H.A.L. 9000 Occam's Chainsaw
Yes, either of those will work. Really any DDR3 10600 SO-DIMM will work just fine.
Technically, the Llano platform supports up to DDR3 1600MHz, but it's more expensive than the DDR3 1333MHz that you have linked. Though you'd be hard pressed to really find much performance increase from it. If you play any games or do anything graphics intensive, there have been several benches that show a marginal improvement with DDR3 1600MHz. -
I just realized that the CPU-Z says that it is PC3 10700, but the model number finds PC3 10600. Is this a problem? would the PC3 10600 work even though the RAM I have is PC3 10700? What are those numbers anyway?

Unless you do things that take up a lot of RAM (like video editing, hardcore photoshop etc.) you really don't need an upgrade. Save your money and put it towards a SSD or something.
