    Pcmcia Usb?

    Are there any PCMCIA cards with 2 USB ports that don't protrude from the computer AT ALL? The ones I am finding are 4 USB ports but they are a huge addition to the shell.

    you'll need to find something that fits wholly within a type III slot. Those kind of slots went out of fashon about 4 years ago although you may find a laptop or three that still have them.

    I don't think that's even possible seeing a USB plug is itself already larger than the slot for a pcmcia car so the adapter holding the usb plug can never fit inside the slot

    yeah but those do ofcourse protrude from the laptop...which they always will because of what i said before

    My USB flash drive is about a 1mm less in height than the PCMCIA slot so it is possible

    I just searched for usb pcmcia at newegg.com/.ca and even the ones that have 2 ports won't fit into the slot.
