I have a cf-28 panasonic toughbook, the two pcmcia ports stopped working. I see that they sell cf -28 for parts on ebay for about 79 to 100 dollars. Could I buy one of these and switch out the shell, and does it matter if my proccessor is a 1000 HHz, and they are selling one that is a 600 Mhz. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have PCMCIA problems also. What are you talking about doing? Do you know why they stopped working? Are you taking about swapping MoBo's? Can you swap CPU's. Please elaborate. As to the 1000Mhz vs 600Mhz the difference is in the CPU the system bus should be the same I think.
