    is it true a Pentium M 2.26Ghz has the same amount of power as a Pentium 4 Processor running at 3.6 or 3.8Ghz? this was going through my head for a long time i wanted to know what this PentiUM M processor is equivelent to

    It is probably even more powerful.

    My 3.2GHz P4-M (533FSB) is about or slightly below the P-M 1.86GHz

    Roughly the Hz to Hz transformation is x1.5-1.6

    No, it is not true. In fact, the Pentium M 2.26 is closer to a P4 running at 4 ghz.
