I want to get a Dell XPS m170 but im not sure what CPU I want. I cant find no sites with good benchmarks of all three versions.
So does anyone know how much diff the 760 compares to the 770,780? If its only like 5fps difference in games then ill just get the 760 or something.
Thanks in advance

well I just found this review for them but the difference is so small I dont see why they want 500 more over the 760 on dells website for the 780.

Basically... Because they can. Many people, especially the more technologically ignorant look at the CPU first to see how powerful the computer is, so they buy the most powerful one no matter the cost quite often.

Spec260, don't look at it from a FPS point of view, that's just not right.
If you can afford it, SURE go for the fastest CPU, faster is better, BUT if you can't afford it, but are looking for the best bang for your buck think about what you require.
Man even a 1.6ghz mobile processor will handle your games fine if you have a good GPU in your notebook.
Just go for the CPU with the best price, or if you wanna go higher make sure the jump from the lower to the higher CPU doesn't cost too much.
