    Pentium M vs. Core Duo.

    So, there is a vaio with a M770 2.13GHz processor and a Samsung with the T2300 1.66GHz processor. Is there going to be much difference between these processors? Only thing I could find was this

    But that compares the T2300 to the M730 saying the duo is 40% faster, so is the M770 40% faster then the M730?...

    It really depends on what you are doing. If you are doing some serious multi-tasking like I do programming at work, then you would benefit more from the core duo. If you are just playing single threaded games and such, the M770 would outperform the duo. I would personally go with the duo core, as it is the future. 40% would only be under ideal conditions for the duo core which would be 100% of the test being muli-threaded.
