I'm clueless when it comes to Intel Mobile CPUs, GPUs I understand, NVIDIA, ATI, Intel Intergrated, MXM etc... but I just can't understand the CPUs.

I mean the sockets - I've heard so many terms I need someone to clear up the facts, what is socket P? socket 478? socket 479? are any compatible?
    HELP!

Will a P8400 and a T8100 fit in the same laptop without modding?
Will a Pentium Dual Core run in a Core 2 Duo Laptop without modding?
Or is it the chipset and all intel mobile sockets are the same...

What is BGA478? PGA479? BGA479? Numbers? Letters? Numbers?

    !!!!

(I understand FSB and the Santa Rosa and Motevina chipset thing so I don't need that explaining, I need the actual sockets explained... i.e. a Core i7 won't fit in a LGA775 Mobo... also... sorry if I sound like a newbie)
