I'm going to be upgrading my i9200's RAM in September and I have a question about the performance of different types of RAM.
I'm looking at either getting two Kingmax 1GB modules or two Kinston 1GB modules. As of now, the Kingston memory is $20 more, but that is because you save $10 because of the "end of month sale". After the sale, assuming prices don't change, there will only be a $10 difference.
If the prices stayed the same, would it be worth the extra $20 to get the good brand? Would it offer any increase in performance, or just reliability? The reviews for both products are possitive.

I want to get 2GB at one time so I don't have to upgrade later. Which modules should I get? I realize that in the time between now and the time I order it, the product selection will change and prices will as well. I just want to know if spending a little bit of extra money will be worth it.
Also, does anyone know of any compatibility issues between this memory and the Inspiron 9200? I'd hate to purchase memory that is incompatible.

I think both brands are solid and would go the cheaper route.

Awesome. I can live with that.
