I've been asking for recommendations on thermal paste to repaste my MSI Laptop, and from the most recommended only 2 are available on my country.
-Gelid GC Extreme
-MasterGel Maker
How much is the performance difference? As Mastergel Maker is significantly more expensive than Gelid GC Extreme in my country (More than double).
I want to know if the performance difference is significant or if it is so little I should go for the way cheaper Gelid GC.
Thanks

This is too difficult to answer. It may also vary by batch.
I heard newer batches of Mastergel Maker perform better than older batches, but I can't verify this for you.
Otherwise, they trade blows.
Luumi had his old batch (<2015) of Gelid GC Extreme performing better than Kryonaut and almost the same as Kingpin KPx, on his youtube video page.
But his new batch performed worse. He said in his video he thought it might be a bad batch.
Otherwise you can consider going by this.

Will the best case (batch) real world performance between both will be very noticeable or not much (negligible) -
I have a new batch of Gelid GC Extreme and it performed bad, I have no idea if the old batch could perform better. Mastergel Maker old and new no difference for me, exactly the same. I wouldn't use Gelid for a notebook.

I know from my discord server that Mastergel Maker can be obscenely overpriced in some regions ($30-40) so i end up recommending another good paste like Gelid as well. -
I'm not calling it a good paste since it's 4-5 degrees down to some others which can deal much better with a convex heatsink. Maybe he is lucky and has a better heatsink than me, than it should do fine (like most).
