Because I am entering college this comming fall, I am basically forced to buy a napa (duo) platform, because the newer platform will be released near the end of the year.

Any estimates on the differences on performance / batterylife / etc.

The article somewhat helps, I was just wondering what the gains would be with a dual/64 bit processor vs just a dual core processor. Or the previous situation in reference to battery life. (sure it says duo will be longer, but how much?)
