Quite honestly I'm stuck for choosing between the two.
Which CPU (Phenon II 720/ C2D E7500) do you think is superior in terms of:
Overclock ability
Gaming
Multimedia (encoding)
Thermals
Benchmarks
Anything else you can think of

720 BE should be better, particularly at encoding and gaming, it's a BE so it's easy to overclock, reported to overclock to at least 3.5ghz. not sure about thermals, but both of them should be okay with a decent aftermarket cooler, assuming you would get one since you mentioned overclocking. -
