    Hey everyone i have an acer aspire 4720z and i want to upgrade hard drive and ram. so heres my question...
    1. what kind of hard drive do i need? sata or something else?
    2. whats the maximum size of a harddrive i can put on there?
    3. if i upgrade the ram to 4gb i want to swith to 64bitis that possible?
    really appreciate any help :)

    1) You need a 2.5” SATA notebook Hard drive
    2) Your computer is not very old, therefore I don’t think you’ll face any size restrictions.
    3) From what I found on the internet that notebook is sold with a 64bit capable Intel Core 2 Duo T2390 CPU. Therefore yes, you can install a 64bit OS. You don’t have to upgrade your RAM to switch to 64bit, you can even do it now. But I highly recommend the upgrade.

    As always bigger drives are coming if you can wait a bit. I'd suggest getting a 7200RPM drive for a performance boost unless you need the extra space. The biggest 7200RPM drives are 320GB at the moment. The 500GB Seagate 7200.4 is supposed to be out, but you'll have a a hard time finding one.
