I have a Hyundai ImageQuest LCD monitor model # L90D+. I need to ship it to a new address so I need to take it apart and put it in its original packaging. But I have a problem separating the monitor from its stand. I just couldn't seem to take it apart. I tried to remove the safety pin but it didn't solve the problem.

Please tell me how to take it apart? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hendra

Looks like it is screwed on by 4 screws. Do you still have the CDs that it came with? I bet there is a manual on one of them.

I remember very clearly that I didn't use a screwdriver when I put it together. I still have the manual but it doesn't say anything about assembling or disassembling the monitor.

I believe the safety pin is for height adjustments to the lcd stand?

I'm not an LCD expert but I know that my Dell LCD stand has a button in between the bottom 2 screws that retracts a tooth from the lcd which allows the stand to be removed. Then again there are no screws used in my Dell stand.

Think your best bet would be to just unscrew the 4 black screws. They were meant to be removable so you could attach different styles of vesa 100 LCD mounts.

Might just be easier to unscrew it then and package the screws in a plastic bag. You don't want to snap it off the wrong way.

I have just snapped the base off. Easier than I thought. Thanks for all the suggestions.
