you are in the wrong forum... this is notebookreview not desktopreview.
as for your questions you could at least use google and/or go to gigabyte website.
    all you need is here:
    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM2+ - GA-MA785GM-US2H (rev. 1.1)

if you consider 2x 7970 then you have enough money to buy other motherboard and probably much better upgrades. 2x 7970 is about $1000. with that money tou could get for example:
    $150 intel motherboard with Z77 chipset 2xpci-e 16x 3.0 sata 6gbps usb3.0 DDR3 etc
    $100 16gb DDR3
    $230 intel core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)
    $500 1x AMD 7970
    =
    $980

Dude, that Phenom 2 will bottleneck any 6-series or 7-series GTX/AMD card on the market

If that phenom 2 X6 will bottleneck those cards then can you provide a max config that one can get with Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H motherboard ??

No. Why is it so hard for you to copy and paste your question on the desktop forum?

why are you in deep trouble?

Also I nearly laughed when you said you want to put 7970 in that basic pc.

I would if I was you upgrade the gpu to something like an amd 7750.

you need windows 7 as then you can play dx11 games. If you want my honest opinion, I reckon you should upgrade to a better pc if you want to do top end gaming.

However your cpu is decent for a mid range gpu like a 7750.
