Wait why did it just die? Did you spill something over your computer or drop it?

What's dead ? Just the keyboard ? (You are telling us the computer successfully boots into Windows, right ?)

Does Windows complain about not having a keyboard ?

    Does the touchpad work ?

Can you connect a desktop keyboard ? Does that work ?

Did you drop it? Maybe the connector got unplugged under the keyboard, which I doubt.

Hrmm. Maybe you have an ant problem like I did. Nah, I doubt that.

Take it back to your reseller. I don't see a simple fix to this problem without having to open your laptop up which isn't such a good idea if you still have a warranty.

Try connecting an external keyboard to your laptop and get it up and running, then go into the bios and see if something is wrong.

    Cheers,
    Mike
