Has anyone undervolted a vostro 1500 with vista home basic, is this possible?
is basic 32bit and
premium 64bit?? -
I tried both RMclock and NHC, but NHC doesnt support our chipsets, and I could not get RMclock to undervolt properly and it always showed my cpu useage at 30-50% when there was no load but OS, task manager showed like 3-7% cpu usage.

Yeah I used the Dell version but i guess its know that it doesnt support the rosa sata chip set?
-
Apparently, DELL locked out their BIOS, so no OC'ing nor Undervolting for us poor Dell owners
(I'd love to be proven wrong, though!).

I can undervolt my dell 6400 with bios a15 with NHC

Info in the RMClock forum is that the developer has now got his hands on a Santa Rosa machine so an SR-compatible version of RMClock should appear soon.
