Please tell me the performance difference between VGA and DVI. I am having mixed information with this two. I want it to hook it up to a laptop. I think DVI is better but is the performance difference between the two really NOTICEABLE?

Hi,
DVI does offer better image quality, but most people won't notice the difference between a well executed VGA connection and DVI.

If your laptop has a DVI connection then us it but if all you have is VGA then you don't really have a choice. DVI is digital so it offers slightly better image quality, especially with certain LCD's, but with my Dell 2007wfp i don't see a difference between VGA and DVI.

i believe the limit is 1600x1200..if its larger than that you will notice significant quality differences..aka with the 2405 or 2407 dells

There's no performance difference. But in some cases the difference in image quality will be noticeable.
Please tell me the performance difference between VGA and DVI.
