    Hello,

I am having a problem with my laptop (HP pavilion dv5-1080ev). After a clean installation of Windows 7 x64 I could no more adjust the brightness of the screen (either by fn+f7/f8 or by going to "power options"). The HP site suggests that I should install "Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family Graphics Driver" but when I try so I get an error message: "the computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software". Do I really need this since my video card is nVidia geforce 9600M GT (dedicated), does it have to do with the brightness?

    Thanks in advance!

PS: I have installed Windows 7 x64 on the same laptop before without this problem.
The first thing I did when I installed windows was to install virtualbox, I did it even before I install the drivers. Could V.B.'s USB support driver have messed up with the rest of the drivers?
