In the pi calculating thread, a lot of people seemed to have Core Duos, so let's see how all this looks in a poll.

Cheers. -

-
P4, which may soon be replaced with a Duo. Despite all the hating on laptops with P4's, mine's been good to me, even with battery life.
-
Pentium 4-M(obility pfft..) going on around 4 years old, I'm definitely getting a Yonah soon enough.
-

see the pic in my signature?
this is what happens when someone heard of undervolting to improve the performance, but then doesn't seem to get the good results... -
Mobile AMD Sempron 3300+ (Albany Core?) 2.0GHz
Fast enough for my games, and can frag for hours and it barely gets warm. Thanks to my 69F room temp of course lol. -
Is it actually called "Intel Core Solo?" To be honest, I'm not a fan of making up names just because they are opposite to the name of another series, such as "Intel Core Duo."
A Diablo II example of this was people calling characters "Softcore" characters if they were not Hardcore characters. Sorry if I pay attention to details and technicalities -
Soft and Hardcore...are we still talking about computers? Or did this turn into an independent film discussion? lmao jk

Well.. In my desktop I have an AMD 3200+ running at 2.51 ghz. But I sold my XPS M140 with a Pentium M, and I'm going to be getting either the Asus W3j or A8jm by the end of the month. So Core duo is what I'll have

Work desktop: Pentium 4 2.6GHz -

My fsc amilo a 1630 needs a 160watt transformer to power the thing and is the size of a household brick. Keeps my feet warm though!!!
-

My desktop is very close to being replaced, and my work pc is so painfully slow I dread going into work. Ill try to make my lappy last at least a year but when conroe is offered in mobile form I dont know if Ill be able to resist -
Cowabuna, look at the number of Core Duos! You people replace your computers too often.
I'm still using my "old" Pentium M 750 1.86GHz in my Dell (gaming rig) and a Turion 64 ML-40 2.2GHz in my Compaq (school/work/otherwise on the road machine).
Yeah, the less powerful processor is in my gaming rig. Go figure. -
AMD athlon 64 x2 4400
-
there's a pentium 4 3.4 ghz with HT in my desktop.
-
Core Duo. I am going to wait for the Core Quad Core before I upgrade (which I made up, by the way).
