I just got the Zbook 14 last week and am satisfied with everything else except the display.

The display just looks 'yellowish' out of the box. I checked the review on some sites and the official term seems to be 'tan tint'. Moreover, the brightness is a bit low. So, the combination of these two makes the screen not so satisfactory, especially when I have an external bright and normal white display connect.

The current resolution is 1920*1080 and the internal GPU is Intel HD 4400. I wonder whether it's feasible to replace the screen myself with a 'better' one that looks just bright and white. If possible, is there any panels that are known for sure to be compatible? Or, what critical specs do I need to pay attention to when choosing the panel, in addition to screen size and pin connection?

If possible, I am also interested in upgrading the screen with a UHD one, such as 3200*1800, although I think it would be more difficult because HD 4400 would not be able to support the resolution and AMD Fire Pro needs to be used for the display.

Why don't you just adjust it with the gpu options or the Windows built in color management options instead? A 1 minute tweak may save you grief and $$$

OP try tiller's suggestion.. Replacing the display is not easy and you will void your warranty doing so...
