I have an emachines eme-627 laptop with an AMD ATHLON 64 TF-20 Processor (1.6ghz single core) but i am looking for possible upgrades that i maybe able to do to it. I have been looking on the web and people have had success with a couple different cpu's, would it be possible for me to throw in a AMD TURION 64 X2 TL-52 processor in there and nothave a huge heat problem with it?I was looking at the tl-50 but the l2 cache is 2x 256, which would mean it is almost the same as my laptops cpu which has a single 512kb cache, so i am considering either the turion tl-52 or the turion tl-56 wiki has a list of the cpu's and their specs, the links are below.

If your laptop offers the processor in other models of your notebook, then the upgrade should work just fine. :)
