I recently purchased a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 8000. It uses Bluetooth technology to communicate with the mouse but my laptop already has bluetooth built in so I don't use the little dongle it came with. Is it possible to use the dongle on another PC for Bluetooth file transfer? I plugged it in but it seems that I need special sofware to make it function as a file transfer device. Any advice?

    Thanks is advance!

Yes its possible but you might need different drivers. It might use the drivers that will only allow the dongle to work with the mouse
