I am curious if its possible to rewire (if needed) to work with a desktop 4 pin connector? If anyone knows the layout for the fan I can probably figure out the desktop pin out side as thats standardized.
The laptop fan is 12v 0.45a

I had no idea the color coding was standardized as well, my Rangers fan cables are all black, though they are aftermarket.
I want to knock out a bunch of modding on the Turkey Day holiday so this info has been most welcomed!
Fan is actually 12v / 0.6a though, not sure if that matters too much (not an electrician)
Now I just gotta desolder the heatsinks I have for their parts and get to overhaulin
