    Well, like the title says, post your scores. :)

    Remember to state your laptop configuration, and then please provide a link to the score. If you have overclocked any components, then please state the Stock score, and then the Overclocked score. I'll go first.

    Guys, I have downloaded a trial copy of pcmark05 from guru of 3d, and after I run the test I cannot get individual scores, cause it is a trial program.
    Many have suggested that I should add pcmark harddrive scores to my review on the Samsung Hm160Hc drive I made, but I only get a measly number at the end of the test, and nothing about the harddrive score.

    Is there any free/trial version of pcmark I can download which just does the harddrive diagnostics?

    I do not want to pay for the program just to give someone another benchmark of the drive.
    I would appreciate it if someone knew where I could get a pcmark trial which just did a harddrive test.

    My dell 8500 which is 5.5 years old got a 1389, but thats mostly cause it has a single core pentium 4 M.

    You get two hard drive scores even in the trial edition. If you check my score link, you will find my HDD scores as follows:

    HDD - XP Startup: 8.18 MB/s
    HDD - General Usage: 5.32 MB/s

    My Acer 3680's score was 1312....considering it has a pathetic CPU, GPU, HDD and chipset..:laugh:
    Although my Dell D630 gave a score of 8482, it had an X9000 OC at 3.2GHz....

    I don't actually have the program anymore, but when I did I remember that I got something in the 4000's on my laptop in WinXP.

    PCMark Vantage though score was 2988 btwXD

    I downloaded the program, paid for the licence and it won't give me a score of any kind. It kept showing "failed" on some of the tests, the hdd being one of them I believe. Any pointers for me here?

    Are you talking about PCMark05? You may need to run the program w/ administrative rights if you're using Vista...

    I dunno, I'll try that. When I re-ran it, it failed every HDD test, failed to initialize I believe is what it was saying, it flew by so fast it was hard to catch it though.

    At the end it tells me it can't give me a score unless I select the "Suite" which is selected. I'll try again as an administrator and see what it comes up with.

    I ran it as "administrator" and it ran all of the HDD tests, but didn't run the 3d pixel shader test for whatever reason.........and at the end it gave me the same "need system suite" to be run message and wouldn't give me a score.

    I fond the problem, have to run the test with the basic or aero themes, nothing else. I am retrying the test with less processes running and a flash drive using readyboost.

    I don't know what it is, but I always get a error of "unable to upload results" or something along those lines. Bleh, would like to try it. Best score of a wee bit over 5k on the setup listed below. But now I have a T8300.

    Oh and it started to not work, after I did a clean install of XP with SP3 slipstreamed in. So who knows.
