    Hi Guys,

I apoligize in advance if this is a very silly question. I am trying to spec out a Dell 640m and I noticed a slight difference in the nomenclature for these two seemingly identical processors when I chose different starting setups to customize on the website:

    Intel® Core™ processor Duo T2400 (2MB Cache/1.83GHz/667MHz FSB)

    Intel® Core™ Proc Duo T2400 (1.83GHz/667MHz /2 X 1MB L2 Cache)

Am I just an idiot, or are there truly any difference in these processors?
    (I know that 2x1=2, lol)

    Cheers

Some say 2x1 for the cache since there are 2 cpus, some say 2mb of cache all together but its the same thing

No question is a stupid question. Looks as though they already answered it though.

Good luck with your 640. I my self have a E1505 with a 2400 and it's very good. More than enough power for gaming or anything else.
