This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     It is a nice diagram showing the distribution of the power consumtion between different NB components:

    Unfortunately, it is slightly old (2003).


    German words: Festplatte=Hard Disk, Sonstiges=Others, Lüfter=Fan, Stromversorgung=Power Supply, the rest is obvious.

    That's nice.
    we get so hung up on 1 watt of power more or less for the CPU, while they consume that little!
