    Power button is broke

    the power button on my laptop has gone in and 'broke' as it cant be pressed no more meaning that i cant turn my computer on by it once it has been turnt off.

    what can i do?

    i still have warrantly and the computer is a compaq presario r3000 but i want to transfer the files from my new computer before it goes in
