I just bought a B130 that has a DVD/CD-RW. I'm happy with the laptop for what I paid but my wife and I were watching a movie tonight and about midway through it started skipping as if there was a smudge or scratch on it. I looked and there wasn't. I put it in my other laptop and my desktop and the movie worked great in both. The DVD/CD-RW drive was also making some loud funky noises sort of like clunking sounds when it was messing up. Then I restarted the B130 and the movie played ok. Since it is not the disc it seems the laptop was overloaded in some way since it did ok when I restarted it. This one has 512 mb ram and the 1.5 Ghz Celeron. Anyone have any ideas what would cause this. I know that if I call Dell they will just say that it was the disc. Oh yeah DMA is turned on. We watched the movie halfway through before this problem started.
