I got my self an xi1546 on friday 13th 2007.

Specs: core 2 duo t7200 2.0 ghz 4 mb cache
    ati x1800 mobility 256mb ddr3
    240 gb harddisk 120x2. raid 1 5400 rpm serial-ata 150
    media center edition
    2 gb ram

Perfect laptop, fast as ligthning. I wanted to be faster by switching to raid 0 on via raid tool. Under the process I got an error about stripe array or something, later it wanted me to restart the pc, I did that.

After booting it upp I got an message on ms dos, "operatvie system not found"

I tried to boot with xp and vista cd, and pushed f6 to install the sata, raid drivers. It could not find any save storage, it means it could't find any harddisk :( .

I used a program called partion recovery and booted upp with that program. It scanned my harddrive and after a whileit found all the programs and files. everything was there. But still I am getting "operative system not found"

In bios it find the two harddrives. I also used an external floppy drive and tried to boot upp with the disk, no chance.

Any ideas, I find it very anjoying that the pc would come upp with such thing after i used it after 4-5 hours. There is nothing wrong with the pc it self, I ran via raid tool and I screwed it upp. But I have a guarantee on 2 years.

    Please help me!

If you have an XP bootable CD capable of bringing up the recovery console.use it and type "fixmbr" in the recovery console.
If you don't have such a thing, If you have high-speed internet access, download and burn the ultimate boot cd.Type fdisk /mbr.
    This might help.
