Ok, I have a WD Passport, 160gb. I'm trying to transfer a 4.15 gb file to it, but whenever I try, I get this error:

I have done the disk cleanup, now there is 0kb of temporary files. But I still get this message.
    Can anyone help please? Thanks.

Thanks, I'm using XP. I tried that, got an error, but worked around it. I successfully managed to transfer the file after I converted it to NTFS, so thanks for that.

However, now I can't delete any files off the drive. Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to convert it back to FAT?

this my sound stupid, but try right click the files you want to delete --> properties --> and check if they are not "Read only".

you can delete read only, just not save any changes you make to the file internally.

Try the program "Unlocker", and see what program is holding the file hostage. Are you getting any specific error messages when trying to delete or just the generic one that says you can't delete it, make sure that it is not open/running?

Thanks for the help guys, I fixed it. Just had to convert the other drives to NTFS.
