I have been having some problems with the SSD in question, first it suddenly lost whatever registry it was needed to be detected, it was strange since I had used it not 5 min before, and suddenly bam, lost it all.

I had to format the thing to make it usable. Tried Disk manager, smart test, it passed.

Now Suddenly this week I had lost the access to my OSX partition, I could only boot on windows. Tried again to make it work under OSX via a reinstall, but it was fruitless, I couldnt select the disk.

Formated it under windows and OSX, using prompt/diskpart and disk utility.Tried to fix any errors left available by formating and running disk utility repair disk function. Tried to install again to be stuck in the disk selection.

I will try to install it in an old lenovo that I have in the house, to see if I can install windows on it.

Im afraid that the nand is giving away. And I was too scared to update it to the newest firmware.

Any ideas how to make it usable or I should just try to get the warranty on it?

I hate to say it, but this sounds like a textbook example of a Sandforce drive biting the dust...those gen 1 Sandforce drives have had a history of just dying out of the blue like this after a couple months of nothing but goodness - usually between 3-5 months in...

I thought as much, I have started the RMA process, lets hope that it works, since I bought this in Brazil, thus leaving me high and dry most of the time.

So far Im liking their CS, they have already sent me the mailing sticker, problem is Im going to pay for that international shipping, ouch, at least I hope that they will give P series with the marvel controller

Sent the drive by mail yesterday, with good luck they are going to receive it next week, delivery time is estimated in 6-8 business days.

    The problem is that:

In a common scenario Im going to have:
    Delivery: june 4th
    Process Time: june 11th
Delivery: probably july if it doesnt get stuck in customs somewhere along the way
