well i just bought a HP Probook 4520s and it has a ralink combo bluetooth and wireless
i3 pro and 3 gigs ram
i have installed windows 7 on it
i have downloaded and instealled the drivers of ralink from HP site for Windows Seven Professional ( i have windows 7 professional N 32 bits)
well the problem i am facing is the wifi is not geting switched on . the wifi light remains orange (amber) even if i click the button . the bluetooth turns on the wifi remains off. i installed HP Wireless Assistant
it says the Wireless Lan Adaptor has been switched off from the Device Maneger. But i cant locate wireless lan adaptor in device maneger . So how shud i enable it
??
i have checked the Bios at start up
bluetooth and wlan combo is ticked so its not that
??
what is the problem can any one help me here

the exact model of the Lan Card is Ralink rt3090bc4

Try using "HP SoftPaq" which I found to be a great program simply because it will read your hardware and tell you which drivers you need, then it will download the right one, and install it (you don't have to install all the crapware it recommends, just the wi-fi driver) HP ProBook 4520s Notebook PC- HP SoftPaq Download Manager - HP Business Support Center

i did
and now it works
