    Hello Everyone,

I have a XPS 1210 core duo 1.6 ghz T2300 and I want to upgrade to a core 2 duo processor.

I was curious if i can upgrade to a core 2 duo on the existing motherboard.
I guess its 945 chipset and I also needed to know if this mobo would support a 64 bit processor.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Yes you can. It accepts core 2 duo cpus with 667MHz bus. You just need to figure out how to actually do it, and install the latest BIOS.

Tho this voids your warranty, so be warned.
