So first off let me say that I am the proud, happy new owner of an m1330, and absolutely love it. But on that note, i have installed very little, pretty much adding what I need as I come to need.
But I do have the nvidia model which is prone to overheating and failing, so I am very worried about the lifespan. It has seen a year of use on a desk, not doing much, and has been perfect. But just to be safe, I have heard about processor temperature monitors and fan controls, but do not know where to begin. So what programs are there, and how/ where to I get them to monitor my usage?
Or am I worrying too much? I do not want to overclock, benchmark, or anything. Just normal usage, doubtfully playing games. But maybe watching movies. Or not.
Thanks!

Hi,
I don't know if this is the sort of thing you want but look at HWMonitor here -
CPUID Hardware monitor is ur best bet for accutate readings... will also show battery capacity etc...
Processor temperature monitor and fan controller
