Getting ready to buy my first laptop. Processor wise I was originally looking at the T9400 2.53. I do a lot of Photo processing with Lightroom and work with large raw files. But I was wondering If I could get by save a little bit of money and get the P8600 2.4, or the P8400 2.26 instead.
    Thanks.

If you work with photos and large raw files the 6 mb L2 cache will help

Also keep in mind that Photoshop CS3 will be GPU-accelerated, meaning that the program will be able to utilize certain GPUs for more general tasks.

We'll the laptops I'm interested in will have an Nvidia 9600GT card.
I run Lightroom on my desktop now with a very old ATI card with no problems.

CS4 now has nvidia acceleration, which comes out to better performance depending on GPU

Oh yeah, I looked online. It is a feature set for CS4. Sorry, and thanks for the correction. ;)
