Acer is working on getting a few models out the door soon, too.

Puma makes really cheap shoes ;)

The Puma line was only released a few weeks ago, and as notebook history has shown, AMD has never really had a very large percentage of laptop based systems on the market. Usually HP/Compaq, gateway and Acer are the only mass retailers of AMD systems. Intel systems are generally made cause Intel has a much larger share in the laptop business, and most people think the only cpu is Intel, so they buy Intel systems, and keep forcing AMD's proportions down.

I have two AMD laptops, and have had 22 Intel laptops. Both Amd systems are desktop replacements, but their really havent been many AMD systems in the before say 4 years ago. Only now (past two years or so) are they starting to break into the laptop market more.

The Puma line is pretty sweet becuase of its hybrid graphics and its a really good platform. The turions still use the same technology as 4 years ago, but the platform has become much better and now trumps the Intel integrated solutions in every benchmark.
