So my 6990m burnt out in my malibal, and I want to replace it. I found a good deal on a 675m; however, will a clevo based laptop accept a msi card. I know they wont accept one from a dell laptop. On that, is there a way I can flash the bios without being able to see the screen so that I can replace it with a 700m series card. It's a p170hm. Thanks! (hope this is the right subforum!)

I would post in the Sager sub forum to be honest... I think perma might have released a modded BIOS etc for using a 7970M or something or even 780M...

Not unless the board chipset recognizes the replacement GPU otherwise as the other poster says you need to contact the other forum as they mentioned to get you more help for specific laptop questions your asking.
