Is it possible to see how the new dual core will differ in benchmark compared to the original 1.6 GHz Neo?

Also, I'm curious as whether the new 2UT (formerly named Congo) platform introduces a newer and more powerful dual core ultra thin processor or is it just paired up with a better graphics card?

Well based on reading of equally spec Core 2 Solo vs Core 2 Duo, the Duo was much faster as it was dual core cpu. Most noticeable gains were seen in dual tasking and video encoding.

Now with that said the same should apply here, since this model is dual core also, vs the single core of the previous model. Now battery life is another story, as that could have the potential of being worse.
