At XoticPC you can configure the same but w/one 8800GTX (better than 2 8700's) for $3.329. Or get 2X8800GTX for $4,024. They have cash discounts also. This is a SAGER NP9262
, Link and as Kdawg said Built on Clevo D901C. Can configure how you want it, D901C the absolute most powerful notebook made.

I have the D900K AMD version of that laptop, and it is awesome. It is very heavy. The D900K series is a year or two older than the D901C, but it has about the same amount of insane power. Well its the fastest AMD laptop in the world, with an Opty 185 running at 3.0Ghz instead of 2.6Ghz. The D901C is light compared to my Voodoo rebranded D900K. My system weighs just under 24lbs. It weighs so much because of all of my modifications. I will show pics when it is finished being painted. I use my Voodoo on my lap, and it is fine. My laptop runs cooler than the Intel D901C, and my processor uses 125 watts of power, not 90. I do not recommend buying an ACE laptop, because it is smarter to buy directly from Clevo, through known retailers such as Sager, Xotic, RJTECH and such.

Wow, never knew a Q6600 was so readily available in the market. Should've searched around a bit before posting this

I'm posting this on a PC Microworks Blackhawk. Q6700, 2 8700GT's in sli.
I love it, but it's definitely not a "laptop". :) Weighs about 11 lbs not counting the hulking power adaptor. Great portable gaming machine. It runs cooler than my old Dell 8200 inspiron.

How do you determine that it runs cooler than an inspiron 8200?
I would like to know what core temp and riva tuner post for temperatures on your blackhawk
My Opteron 185 in mY Voodoo ENVY U709 runs overclocked and maxxes at 57C.
My Quadro Fx2500M, which is more power consuming than the 8700 maxxes at 55C. I have the fans on full all of the time. FN+ F2 is the best thing about my laptop.

I upgraded the fans to high flow EBM-Papsts, my system does not run over 55C even when under full load. Under normal use, the temps stay below 40 C. IT is fine, dont worry. I think before I do.

Plus the fan vents shoot right out the back. The thing is huge, so literally the fan vents are by my knees. The 2" lift kit makes a nice difference. The rubber grommets hit my legs rather than my laptop.

Its better when you have all around protection
