    Hey guys,

I'm building a relatively inexpensive video editing "workstation" for a friend and I am trying to decide between the Q6600 and the Q8200. They're both priced at 190 USD on Newegg so it's really a toss up for me.

I can't decide if going from 65nm to 45nm and a higher FSB is a worth while trade for half the L2 cache. I should note that, at his request, I will not be overclocking this machine so I'm not worried about the lower multiplier on the 8200. I may or may not drop the voltage on the processor (without dropping the frequency) so it runs cooler.

Oh, almost forgot, the Q8200 has SSE4.1 which may or may not come in handy... I'm not sure if Premiere Pro utilizes the new instruction set yet.

    Any recommendations?

EDIT: I know this isn't notebook hardware but I figure asking wouldn't hurt :D
