hey, i havent seen many benchmarks for this processor and was wondering if it could be OC'd?
It runs at 2.0ghz Quad so overclocking it would be really nice.
anyone have any experiences?

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
It's not a matter of the processor being "overclockable", it's a matter of your motherboard supporting overclocking. All processors are more or less able to overclock to some extent, but almost all laptop motherboards do not support overclocking, and those that do usually only support multiplier overlclocking - in which case you need an overpriced Extreme processor. If you found a laptop motherboard that allowed you to overclock by raising the FSB speed, you could overclock the thing to your heart's content.

oh i see, thanks for that!

the answer is NO.

Technically, you can OC any CPU. SetFSB is one such program, though I don't know its compatibility with the Q9000. I would exercise caution when OCing notebook CPUs since their coolers are far less capable of handling excess heat than desktops. If you've done this before and are comfortable with it then you already know the risks.
