    I believe it's a chip which was never officially released by Intel, like the Q9200 mobile chip, or the E8700.

    Sounds like an engineering sample CPU to me. CPU-World hasn't got a bloody clue.

    i think this is a desktop Q9700 series CPU... ES one .. i would stay away.. this looks doggy...

    I'd stay away from it unless you are sure it's completely alright. A quick Google search turns up very little results for these chips,so they are most likely ES chips.

    You could try for a QX9770 though... ;)

    this is a desktop CPU since it uses socket 775... for goodness sakes , read the seller's page and read up... so it might work if ur D901C.. but stay away from ES.. from what i know ,Q9650 is the best CPU u can use.
