These are all ES specs of the QX9200 and Q9100. They are early beta versions of final production CPU's.

QAJF is an ES Q9200. I don't know if anybody on NBR has this in their machines. The stepping is unknown.

QAVR is also an ES Q9200. It is the latest ES revision of the Q9200. A number of users have this in their systems.

QAVK is an ES Q9100. This is an earlier ES, but is still E0 stepping. It is not recommended as it does not have temperature sensors.

QDRS is also an ES Q9100. This ES is a very early C0 revision. It also does not have temperature sensors. Avoid this one at all costs.

So the QAJF and QAVR both have working temp. sensors?
Looking to get a QUAD soon and don't feel liked getting reamed buying a OEM version (Yeah I'm a cheap *astard).
Do these have any other missing things from them that a OEM CPU has?
I found a Q9200 on Ebay for $250 and it just says ES on it, Good? Bad?

    Get QAVS, avoid QAJF.

Does the QAJF have temp sensors? Also, anyone has a good source of information on all of this? Google doesn't give many results when I search for "QAJF CPU"...

Why is this thread still alive? Out of the four, the only CPU we should even be looking at is the QAVR. It's a simple as that.

We don't know if the QAJF has sensors or not. These are still beta CPU's so they may have a few things unrevised compared to the last QS and final production OEM. Nobody knows specifically what those few things are.

Yes, as kaltmond says, get the QAVS.

    OK!
Didn't mean to beat a dead horse but...I am currently trying to figure what would work best performance/cost ratio.
Once last thing, then QAVS have the temp. sensors in them.Right?
Sorry I'm a little slow, and don't really want do get a QUAD I cant't keep an eye on.
My apologies for keeping the thread alive

The QAVR and QAVS are the same. The QAVS is just from a later batch. Both have temperature sensors and both are great for the price.

So, what are the "good" letters to buy Q9000 and Q9100? Are they also QAVR and QAVS?

Off topic, do Q9000, Q9100, and Q9200 all support Intel VT?
