Want to upgrade my CPU. But locally can't find OEM (slb5j) QX9300 CPU.
    Found only QGNG qx9300.

Who knows something about it? Has it some problems or works perfectly?

In one of the ebay links that Mr.Mischief posted they are asking for $445. This is crazy! Sell your current laptop for $300 (or even more), add that $445 and buy a decent Core i7 laptop.

    I have a QGNG QX9300.

As far as I can tell, it works perfectly. It has temp sensors, and it seems to run stable at 3.33GHz constantly even though my laptop doesn't support CPU overclocking or the QX9300.

I'm sure one would run better in the M570TU.

On the top is one of the OEM QX9300's from ebay and on the bottom is mine:

Is it bios or software overclockable?

    It depends on your BIOS.
I had one in my M17x and I can tell you that with the help of throttlestop it turns into a beast if your laptop's cooling system can handle it.

Look up scook9 results with it (the highest QX9300 overclock)...in a freezer.

I had the Q9000(which btw it isn't unlocked, couldn't get more than 2,5Ghz stable for everyday use) at first and bought the QX9300 (OEM) for 350$ from a guy that had 10 when it was still over 1k everywhere

Seriously don't bother with BIOS overclocking with this chip especially of you can't overvolt. Find the older M17x benchmark threads or the throttlestop guide , see our throttlestop settings and go from there..

My laptop has no BIOS overclocking, so I've overclocked it using a hardware mod in the past, and now I use ThrottleStop.

From user's experiences i could gather about that chip, they are a hit or miss.

I tried overclocking the QX9300 chip in two separate W700 laptops and both couldn't maintain much 'over' juicing because of cooling(I think). Used Throttlestop, etc., and eventually decided it wasn't worth messing with. Too unreliable. I don't recall the various settings I tried, but I think I only jacked it up 10-15%.

Kinda neat to fool with, but when I have some spare cash, I'm gonna get a W520 with max chip and watch it fly...

According to what you are doing the x9100 is a much faster chip. Unless if you have a program that can fully utilize the four threads and also uses affinity for them. The problem mainly with the Q9xxx cpus is the L2 is seperate per silicon on the die. Since windows takes a single thread and divides workload by 25% to each of the four cores it causes double loading of the data and work to both on die caches. this is not so much an issue with the i7's as there is a shared smart cache and affinity is naturally supported on individual threads within windows 7....................

^ Not to mention. There are two versions of the m570tu, one does NOT support quads.

Q9200 2.4Ghz is much better value for money.

otherwise ,X9100 is another great option.

I know. Earlier I was chatting here in some thread and everyone told that my motherboard supports quads. Later will write a label on the sticker under RAM slots.
I have an local offer for OEM qx9300, for 400$. Hope that price will be lowered :D How you think should I buy it?

I wouldn't. You could sell your current notebook for $400-$600, add that $400 to it and get nice new Sandy-Bridge gaming laptop.

If you're dead stuck on a QX9300, for a few bucks more you could snag a W700 -with- the chip already installed. Seems I recall seeing one or more of these in the $1000 range on ebay in recent months.

Might be time to trade up that way, altho I personally like the other suggestions about just selling your stuff and getting a more modern laptop. Newer laptops have more than just a faster chip that contributes to overall performance and throughput.

Agreed, 400$ for a QX9300 is a total ripoff, even if it's OEM. IB is already on the horizon and spending that much money on a such dated chip is not a good idea. A sub 1000$ SB laptop with gtx460m/560m will annihilate your current one in almost every aspect. Save your money and put it towards your next laptop.

Thanks for tips everyone gave me. But I have traded my X9100 for QX9300 ES :D
And now I want to ask one thing. When I overclock through BIOS (throttlestop haven't tried yet), two cores become 2.93GHz and other two 2.53Ghz. Is it normal ? I have added some screenshots of HWinfo32. Also Aida64 shows some insane things ))

It might be a bug due to it being a ES as they are not all the same as a OEM

Using a Throttlestop all cores get overclocked simultaniously :) Problem must be in Bios...
