Hi, I am working on a project to upgrade my Lenovo P71's MXM GPU from a P4000 to something else, and I read from other users here on the forum says that the Lenovo P71's BIOS has a videocard whitelist, and I wanted to test to see if I could change the Vbios from an eBay Lenovo Quadro M620 to another manufacturer's M620 to test the P71's BIOS if it would allow it.
So, long story short, If anyone could share a Vbios from an HP, Dell, or some other Manufacturer, I would be very appreciative.
Thanks,

The only database I know that is of vBios of gpu's: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/
Had a quick look and couldn't see a Quadro M620 there but doesn't hurt to have a deeper look. Hope it helps -

The only way to know (if it works) is to use a SPI PRogrammer and give it a test
BTW The mobile Quadro is called Quadro M(obile)620.
The desktop counterpart is called Quadro P620Last edited: Jan 25, 2021 -

BIOS are particular to their boards and manufacture specs. You can't use another BIOS and expect the same results. So unless there is a GPU upgrade and BIOS update from manufacture doing a DIY isn't advised if your system is still working.
Quadro M620 Vbios needed.
