I'm thinking of getting a 24" monitor (with VGA and HDMI inputs) to use for my computer, but I might also end up buying an Xbox 360 down the road. So, is there any way to use both inputs at the same time, and switch between them? Like, so that I could have my computer plugged in through HDMI and the Xbox plugged in through VGA, and then just change the input, like a TV? Or do monitors not work that way?

    Thanks for any help!

If your monitor has both sets of inputs, it will probably have a mechanism through which you can toggle the input. Every such monitor I've seen does. In a worst case scenario, you could find some sort of KVM switch and just use the video component for the Xbox.

HDMI is evil. :D Get one with a DisplayPort instead :)
