I am trying to figure out if this ebay page is legit, and I found something erroneous with the stepping of the processor not matching up to the Spec Code. http://cgi.ebay.com/Intel-Core-2-Extreme-Mobile-Processor-X9100-OEM-NEW_W0QQitemZ180362717445QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item29fe74a905&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
The seller lists the processor as an x9100 and the picture shows a spec code of SLGE7. According to Intel, this should have a stepping of EO
(source http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=35431 )
In his images though it shows a stepping of C0.
Is this cause for concern?
-
it looks like he has made a mistake with the code of the CPU, email the seller that page to correct him
-
If the pics do not match the description and the description doesn't match the makers (Intel) specs, then yes, something is fuzzy. Do not buy unless the seller explains AND PUBLICLLY CORRECTS the error.

This much I can vouch for, that xiaobaiyang2 is probably the most trusted mobile CPU seller on eBay.

I appreciate that, good to hear feedback.
It's also a matter of I want to know what I am buying as intel lists SPEC Code SLGE7 as out of production, however if he is selling a CPU with stepping C0, that either means an ES or it means the currently shipping model according to that article I found.
You al have been a big help, I did ask him which is correct, and I will post back when I hear a response. -
Check the sellers feedback. If he has over 20 and all are positive then you fine. Its just stepping if you get the cpu and its not an ES as he says and it works then who cares?
