    Hello

    I got a question.

I have a old P4 desktop and I play games on it. I press "Ctr+Alt+Del" and look at the CPU usage during games I play like Sims2 and Warcraft 3 and I notice CPU never hit 100%.

    My question is

If the CPU never hit 100%, does that mean if I upgrade to the latest CPU, the fps will remain the same?

    Thank you

Yes...even if you did hit 100%, a CPU upgrade wouldn't really help too much...it's the GPU that matters.

fps in a game is directly related to the replacement of a GPU for 3d rendering.
